As part of the City of Milwaukee efforts to stabilize its far northwest side, it built a shiny new office park and tech campus on its border with the suburbs. But the city quickly discovered that the majority of workers in the office park were choosing to live outside city boarders. The call went to Gorman & Company to build new, high-quality multi-family so workers at the new office parks would have an additional housing choice within the city. The result was 180 units high-quality, market rate workforce housing strategically located to keep a professional workforce inside the city’s borders.
