Tom Capp
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Tom Capp is Executive Vice President at Gorman & Company, where he has directed the company's real estate development since 1994. Under his direction, the company has put more focus on urban development and redevelopment.
Prior to joining Gorman & Company, he was a Senior Associate at Camiros Inc, an urban planning firm based in Chicago.
Tom also held a number of positions in government before joining Gorman & Company. He is a former mayor of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, where he also served as chairman of the city's Planning Commission, and chairman of its Economic Development Commission. As executive assistant to Dane County Executive Rick Phelps from 1993-94, Tom directed land use and development policy issues for Dane County.
Tom has a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign. He has served on many local boards and commissions in the past, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of CTM Family Theater of Madison. He is married and has four children.
